Edge & Node is at the forefront of web3 innovation. Our mission is to establish The Graph as the unbreakable foundation of open data. Our pioneering subgraphs set the industry standard and solidify The Graph as the premier solution for organizing and accessing blockchain data.

At Edge & Node, we champion a decentralized future based on shared values. Dedicated to decentralizing power and resisting censorship, we aim for a robust, permissionless information era free from central control, thus eliminating the traditional vulnerabilities associated with misplaced trust.

The Data Science team works closely with teams across Edge & Node to deliver high quality data for product research & development and go to market, as well as business analytics. We work across the data lifecycle from infrastructure to product analytics to APIs for user facing dashboards.

We are looking for a versatile Data Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and data innovation. In this role, you’ll respond to ad hoc data requests and streamline the delivery of insights that inform company-wide decisions. You’ll partner closely with business and technical teams, translating complex analytics into meaningful metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools. This position is ideal for someone who is not only collaborative and responsive but also eager to leverage modern data practices and pipelines to help drive our growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Translating ad hoc business requests into clear data tasks and actionable insights
  • Building and maintaining dashboards that communicate key business metrics and performance trends
  • Managing data transformations and pipelines using dbt, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and version control best practices
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, marketing) to refine metrics, definitions, and reporting standards
  • Staying current with emerging data technologies and suggesting improvements to current analytics workflows
  • Ensuring timely and accurate data delivery, providing clear communication to stakeholders

What We Expect

  • Knowledge of The Graph and prior professional web3 experience is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of working with modern data transformation and pipeline tools (e.g., dbt) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable analytics tasks.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports using leading visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker, Tableau, Mode).
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with an understanding of data warehouse best practices.
  • Prior experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, or finance teams.
  • Comfort with emerging analytics methods and tools, especially those that support workflow automation and scalability.

Compensation/Culture

The overall market range for roles at Edge & Node is typically $100k - $500k annually. This market range is based on total compensation (vs. only base salary). Edge & Node has a culture that values meritocracy, personal growth, and an ego-free environment.

About The Graph

The Graph is the source of data and information for the decentralized internet. As the original decentralized data marketplace that introduced and standardized subgraphs, The Graph has become web3’s method of indexing and accessing blockchain data. Since its launch in 2018, tens of thousands of developers have built subgraphs for dapps across 80+ blockchains - including  Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, Celo, Fantom, Gnosis, and Avalanche.

As demand for data in web3 continues to grow, The Graph enters a New Era with a more expansive vision including new data services and query languages, ensuring the decentralized protocol can serve any use case - now and into the future.
